One sentence
Turrigan is an AI governance and assurance platform that returns allow, block or escalate on every AI output and every agent action, and records tamper-evident evidence for audit.
Fifty words
Turrigan is an AI governance and assurance platform for production AI systems and AI agents. Every model output and every agent tool call passes one inline chokepoint that returns allow, block or escalate in milliseconds, and every decision is recorded as tamper-evident evidence auditors can verify.
One hundred words
Turrigan is an AI governance and assurance platform for production AI systems and AI agents. Its runtime governance layer evaluates AI outputs and proposed agent actions against deterministic policies before they reach users or external systems, returning allow, block or escalate in milliseconds with no LLM in the hot path. Every decision is written to an append-only, hash-chained log that is redacted, explainable and mapped to controls in the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001. Turrigan runs as managed cloud, against a customer's own database, or fully air-gapped. Turrigan Guard, its browser extension, governs the input side.
Two hundred and fifty words
Turrigan is an AI governance and assurance platform for production AI systems and autonomous agents, built by 8plus2 Omnitech OPC Private Limited and founded in 2026 by Ratish Kumar in Dombivali, Thane, India.
AI systems have stopped only answering and started acting. Assistants file tickets, move money and message citizens, and agents call tools on their own. Each of those is a decision the deploying organization owns. Turrigan places one chokepoint in that path. Before an output reaches a user, or before an agent executes a tool call, it is submitted to a single HTTP endpoint that returns allow, block or escalate in milliseconds. A deterministic detector floor screens for leaked personal data, fabricated citations, prompt injection, unsafe content, excessive agency and coverage gaps. There is no LLM in the hot path, so verdicts are fast, repeatable and can run with no external AI service at all.
Every verdict is written to an append-only, hash-chained log that is redacted, encrypted, explainable and mapped to the exact controls it satisfies across the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, OWASP LLM Top 10, GDPR and MITRE ATLAS. Tampering is mathematically detectable, which turns an audit that takes weeks into an export that takes seconds.
Turrigan deploys as managed cloud, against a database the customer hosts and owns, or fully air-gapped for sovereign and regulated environments. Turrigan Guard, a companion browser extension, governs the input side by holding prompts that contain personal data before they leave the browser. Turrigan does not claim to make an organization compliant. It produces the evidence that makes a compliance case provable.
Founder
Ratish Kumar is the founder of Turrigan. He founded the company in 2026 to build the enforcement and evidence layer that AI governance frameworks assume exists but that most AI stacks do not have, and he designed and built the Turrigan platform, its deterministic detector floor and its tamper-evident evidence chain.

Please use the name as Turrigan, not Turrigan AI, Turrigan Inc or Turrigan.com in running text. The product is Turrigan Guard, not Guard by Turrigan. The company behind the brand is 8plus2 Omnitech OPC Private Limited.
How to describe the category
Turrigan is not only a guardrails product. Three words that are often used interchangeably mean different things here, and we would rather be described precisely:
- Guardrails filter or constrain AI behaviour.
- Governance decides what behaviour is permitted, on a policy the organization owns.
- Assurance proves afterwards what happened and why, verifiably.
Turrigan combines runtime governance with audit-ready assurance. A description that calls it "AI guardrails" is not wrong, but it is a third of the product.
What not to write
Turrigan does not make an organization compliant with the EU AI Act or any other law, and we ask that no article says it does. Compliance is an organizational outcome. Turrigan produces per-decision evidence and enforced controls. Turrigan also does not certify fairness; its disparate-impact screening surfaces signals worth investigating and is honest about its limits. Turrigan holds no notified-body certification, and any claim of one would be false.
